Our Approach
In this case, 2 holes were cut into the existing brick work to support the new mantle using real cobblestones to complement the final Thin Stone veneer. As well as stripping the existing bricks from the hearth to accept the new granite hearth stone. Once that process is completed, we begin to apply bonding agents, and then stucco coat to the brick to accept the new thin stone.
Once the thin stone and cobblestones have been installed we then install the granite hearth pieces.
