Getting block, granite, equipment, and tools into the backyard presented a significant challenge. The access plan had to account for the existing lawn and landscaping while allowing materials to be staged efficiently near the work area.

Allan Block AB Classic in Granite Gray
The retaining wall was built with Allan Block AB Classic units in Granite Gray. The engineered wall system provides the strength needed to manage the backyard grade while creating a clean, consistent appearance.
The finished design combines straight and curved sections that follow the shape of the property. Careful layout kept the courses aligned as the wall changed direction and stepped with the surrounding grade.
Integrated Granite Steps
Granite-tread steps were incorporated directly into the wall to provide a practical transition between the lower and upper levels of the backyard.
The steps were built with the same attention to proportion, alignment, and finish as the retaining wall. Granite creates a durable walking surface while complementing the gray tones of the block.
