Cornerstone Masonry Services is owned and operated by Christopher Lammey, a craftsman with more than four decades of experience across every facet of residential and commercial masonry. From a front entry transformation that becomes a family heirloom to a commercial building that needs to perform for decades, Chris brings the same standard to every project: do it right, or don’t do it.
Built on a Foundation of Craft
Chris’s masonry education began at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he discovered both a skill and a calling. After graduation, he spent eight years with K&W Construction, widely regarded as the premier high-end commercial masonry contractor in the region. There he learned his craft under the direct mentorship of the mason who built K&W’s reputation, someone whose exacting standards and commitment to quality set the benchmark for the industry. It was during those formative years that Chris developed the technical depth and uncompromising dedication to craft that still define Cornerstone’s work today.
In 1990, Chris and a fellow K&W alumnus went out on their own. That partnership eventually evolved into what is now Cornerstone Masonry Services, built on the same principles passed down from the best in the business.

Over more than four decades in the masonry trade, Chris has worked on an exceptionally broad range of projects, from intimate interior fireplace transformations to large-scale commercial construction. That breadth of experience spans a wide range of masonry materials and systems, including natural stone, thin stone veneer, manufactured stone, brick, block, concrete, granite, bluestone, and more.
That experience shows in the work.
