A Strong Exterior Identity
The credit union needed an exterior that felt professional, substantial, and appropriate for a prominent commercial property. Dark Rundle manufactured stone veneer provided the depth and texture needed to give the building a stronger architectural presence.
The charcoal and gray tones complement the siding, white trim, and credit union branding while helping the building stand out from the surrounding property.
Stonework Across the Building and Site
Cornerstone installed the stacked stone across the building’s entrance, prominent gables, columns, and lower exterior walls. Precast sills frame the windows and create clean transitions between the stone veneer and siding.
The project also included approximately 100 linear feet of freestanding masonry wall finished with the same stone veneer. A poured-in-place cap provides a clean top edge while carrying the building’s material palette into the surrounding landscape.
Working Through Challenging Weather
Heavy rain was followed by periods of intense summer heat during construction. Cornerstone tented the work area as needed to protect the installation and maintain suitable working conditions.
Despite the changing weather, the masonry work remained on schedule. The completed exterior gives the Wareham credit union the bold, finished presence the property called for.
