A Parking Surface Designed for Drainage
Unlike a conventional solid surface, permeable pavement allows rainwater to pass through the joints between the pavers and into the prepared layers below. This helps reduce surface runoff while meeting the project’s permeable surface requirements.
The system provided the Veterans Home with a functional parking area designed to manage water naturally without sacrificing the appearance or durability of concrete pavers.
Maintaining a Consistent Basketweave Pattern
Cornerstone installed the rectangular pavers in a classic basketweave pattern. Maintaining that pattern across an entire parking area required careful layout and consistent alignment.
Each section had to connect cleanly with the next so the pattern remained true across the larger surface without drifting or creating uneven transitions.

The completed parking area provides a durable, low-maintenance surface while supporting the property’s drainage needs. Cornerstone was proud to complete a practical improvement designed to serve the Veterans Home for years to come.
